DAY 19 of 366
NOTE: Little British school girl was the look I was going for today.. I even did the accent for most of the day on campus and at work. The night started out sour due to a certain person and his lack of time. I’m pretty sad, not going to lie, but whiskey on the rocks with my favorite people at Avante Garden made me realize a lot. The universe….
DAY 16 of 366
Note: I realize this photo is really small but it’s the only one I have from yesterday. Michael “McDick” and I traded shirts yesterday at Agora for the lolz. He got so many bad looks because the v-neck looked a little girly on him ;)
DAY 15 of 366
Note: Day 15 was amazing. I had lunch with my LA friends and Sara, then went to Kylie/Gabby’s for a house warming/back-to-school get together. As you can tell, we are all drunk. I love everyone in my life. IT FREAKING RULES. We ended up going to sleep around five and waking up around eleven. I wish you guys could see what I see every day.
DAY 14 of 366
Note: Day fourteen was great. Pictured above is me at Agora with one of my favorite books I read in my Literary Analysis of the Non-Western World class last semester. It’s basically a middle eastern version of Romeo and Juliet… BUT BETTER. This books makes me want to fall in love again.. we’ll see what happens. Well that day consisted of my usual Agora trip, dinner with Lawson, Sara, and Travis Taylor, then Catbirds with Lawson to meet up with my other friends. SIDE NOTE: A guy was trying to hit on Kylie and myself by saying “I’m a poet!” My response: “So is every other person in the area…” (I mean c’mon, we are in the most hipster part of Houston!) Anyway, the night ended with a great drunken talk with Lawson on his couch at 5 in the morning. i loved that talk.
DAY 13 of 366
Note: Friday the 13th! Dandee had a kick ass 80’s art and fashion show in downtown. Of course it was BALLER and I had tons of fun. Pictured is Dandee, me, and Dom (my roommate) who happens to have MY sweater on over MY Star Wars shirt. HE’S SUCH A MEAT MARKET! If anyone reading this is curious, Dandee was featured in The NY Times for a Smurf art show he put on a few months back. He owns an art gallery in Houston called War’Haus Visual Studios. His place has hosted many events including a KAWS (artist from NY) designed Hennessy Bottle Release Party. I always have great times with the gallery crew. Also, Dom is a bad ass artist who IS going to be famous together..
WE’RE CONQUERING HOUSTON TOGETHER
Also, Dom and I danced in the B-boy contest but lost… Dom ran the fashion show, kicked out the guy we call Douchebag, and we all had multiple double shots and drinks in the VIP section. (My night ended with whiskey on the rocks.) Seriously, how am I blessed with such an amazing life?
DAY TEN & DAY ELEVEN of 366
Note: I put one photo for both days because I didn’t get but one hour of sleep so I technically had one REALLY long day thanks to cool guys and coffee. My day(s) went as follows: Agora, randomly ran into a friend, talked/laughed, jammed music in the car for 5 hours (and somehow managed to mosh with him in my car..), watched the sunrise, ate at the diner, watched a movie, took a nap, went to Black Hole for a double shot americano, went to visit the wonderful Kylie at work, went back to Agora and ran into Tim, went to pick up a delicious Vietnamese sandwich for Kylie and myself, went back to Agora, ran into friends, picked out my classes for this semester, came home, took a nap, and am now wide awake.
